OK, then......
Lying, backstabbing, mendacious asshat bureaucrats who deliberately write negative reports that they KNOW will cause major problems can take a flying leap into a wood chipper with dull teeth.
Attempting to set up an office for failure when you KNOW that there is no failure means you need to keep your own home pretty damned clean. And we all know that ain't the case.
Look, fuck heads, we are supposed to be a PROFESSIONAL organization. With fucking INTEGRITY. Do your studies and write your reports with SOME degree of objectivity, and not blatant bias. Do not let the self-interest of others whore you out.
And attempting to corn cob the public while doing so isn't exactly a smart move, morons. That tends to make the leadership just a trifle pissy, for some odd reason.
And don't throw a hissy fit just because your game to publicly embarrass and humiliate another office backfires badly. Publicly. That's your bad, assholes.
So take your little political games, fold them until they are all corners, dip them into decaying cheese sauce made from the milk of rabid ferrets, and shove them so far up your bureaucratic, unprofessional butts that you'll want to grab a bag of nachos and a bottle of beer.
first, by taking and razing the houses of residents for the "public good" of them building a new facility.
second: by deciding they're not going to do so after all and leaving piles of rubble and weeds in place of a neighborhood.
Can SCOTUS decisions be repealed? If so, Kelo should be.
Pfizer should have to give every resident they stole the house and land of their land back, AND build them a house as least as good as what they tore down.
Also, if it's true that the wall street types who got bailed out are ALSO at the head of the line for H1N1 vaccine - before people who could actually, you know, die, if they got the virus, well, both they and the government official who made that decision can both fall backwards onto a sharp edged wine bottle.
I got nuthin' either, but Jeff and Ricki are on a roll.
Except that I don't know how much Pfizer can be blamed, if any. Pfizer didn't take the property, the city took it to give it to a developer for a hotel complex or some such, NOT to Pfizer. It was because Pfizer planned to build a facility there, but I don't think Pfizer was connected with the taking. (But memory of events is not real clear without rechecking, so grain of salt and all that).
Colds that attack thirteen month old babies, gives them a sore throat, and steals their appetite can fuck off. So can the grandmother (MY mother, not my MIL) that try to make me feel like a shitty parent for not being a hypochondriac and rushing the kid to the emergency room for said cold.
Grading. Grading can also fuck off. Especially grading that piled up while I was sick, and too cranky not to snark at my students in the comments.
WV: dammus. Seemed significant, but am too tired to really make a good crack about it.
The a-hole old dude who was not capable of talking on the phone and driving his truck at the same time yesterday morning can fuck off, with rusty snow chains and some of those big-ass old cellphones. I don't wish you an accident but you are certainly bringing one on yourself, and fast (in spite of the fact that you drive like an old lady on 'ludes).
Bosses who say "You're a little ditzy sometimes but you're a good girl" when handing out holiday bonuses. I half expected him to pat me on the head. What am I, twelve?
And how am I a little ditzy, either? Thanks for explaining that one. Grrrrrrr.

F.U.C.K. Y.O.U.
Pfizer can take a flying leap and "just happen to land" on several rusty syringes that then go up their backside for the way they doubly screwed over New London, CT:
first, by taking and razing the houses of residents for the "public good" of them building a new facility.
second: by deciding they're not going to do so after all and leaving piles of rubble and weeds in place of a neighborhood.

Nothing from this side of the peanut gallery either. Blackfive links a rather Fuck-Offable issue, but rather than add, I shall link.

Early for tomorrow.
