Uggh...

Vague maladies with no symptoms other than whole body aches, headaches, and low fever can FTFO.

I don't feel up to posting much more than this, so the floor is yours.  What's getting on your tits today?

I think I might know what you mean--I've had a stupid sniffle for going on two weeks now. And the worst part is that getting my neck adjusted chiropractically probably would solve it, only I don't have the time to go.

Eff grading. I hate doing it. I hate finding out who didn't hand anything in, because that means I have to chase them down and get them to do the work. This isn't what I signed up for as a librarian!

Kate, if there had been a sniffle, I could have called it the flu--as it was, all I could call it was uncomfortable, puzzling, and frustrating.

What is a librarian doing assigning/grading homework? Why are they making you do a classroom teacher's job?

Get feeling better, HH. Kate, that totally sux.

My own fuck off this week is just a general one for our current political class. I can remember when I could have been okay with either the Dem or Repub field. Now, not so much.

Oh, and a big, fat fuck off to the Taliban and other flavors of Islamopricks.

I haven't even read the actual news stories about the supposed Koran burning, but fuck off, Islamopricks. No one riots over someone burning a Bible. No one riots over someone burning a Torah.

But the islamopricks have to riot over this.

And fuck off to Barry. Do not apologize to the scum.

HH--my question exactly. And what's worse is that my certification credits didn't really involve setting up a curriculum with assessments like the way this class operates. Still developing it in the middle of my second year.

Ken, Kate, I was pretty much over the blahs within two days--when I run a fever, whatever was making me sick doesn't tend to stick around long.

Ken, seconded on both your irritations. Stay tuned for Friday...

Kate, I've been teaching Comp I & II for almost 10 years now, and I'm still working on making sure my curriculum works for my students. It's always a work in progress, so don't feel too bad about that.
