A few bad choices on your part do not constitute an emergency on mine.

Students who do not one lick of work after the first week, but e-mail once or twice begging me to tell them what to do to not fail can fuck off. Especially when I answered the first time (turn in the papers, do the blogs, and don't fall behind again), and the second time was the last fucking week of class.

Some people aren't suited to college. And some aren't suited to taking online classes.

Hell, some people aren't suited to high school, HH.

Bureaucracies in general can fuck off. Especially when they get so enthralled with territorial spats that the organization loses sight of it's purpose. They start creating their own barbarians, who don't appreciate what they have, and then proceed to destroy said organization.

Preach it, HH! (And JeffS may be right as well. . )

The cruel person/people who put a KITTEN into a library dropbox in my county can fuck off with shards of glass the size of flagpoles. What were you thinking!? The SPCA is not hard to find around here and it has been over 90 degrees every day for the past month! You killed a kitten--why? Because it was fun to drop it in? Because you didn't want it? Because you somehow thought it was like the story of Dewey the cat? Dewey almost died of hypothermia because it was winter!

Sick.

I can't decide between the ant that bit my toe last night with super radioactive itchy venom and whichever person decided to make it "everybody-poop-on-the-lab month," but both of them deserve shout-outs.

Also, there is my cat who pats me awake earlier and earlier as she's convinced that if I don't feed her right then she will promptly expire, and that if I am so silly as to be asleep at the unholy hours of five, three, or even just after midnight, it only means that I must have forgotten to feed her and she must remind me of it.

wv: taysts, what she does to my face in preparation (she thinks) for doing it to her food.
